About Jason
Dear Neighbors, my name is Jason Teiken. My wife and I have lived in Inver Grove Heights for over 6 years. We are very privileged to raise our four-year-old daughter in this great city.
In 2023, I was appointed to the Planning Commission, where I review and advise the City Council on land use issues, citizen requests, and develop long term land use plans. I consider serious questions on our city’s development and future.
I attended St. Olaf College and then William Mitchell College of Law. I went to law school in order to serve. I practiced law for five years. Then in 2018, I joined Thomson Reuters as an Attorney Editor.
In our free time, my family and I enjoy going to Inver Glen Library, swimming at The Grove, exploring our city parks, trails, and playgrounds. I advocated for Inver Glen Library to host the Waggin’ Tales program.
I am running for City Council to serve the people of this city, ensure responsible development for all our neighbors, and protect our green spaces.
